Neues Stickprojekt: Alla Turca

Ich habe mir wieder ein neues Projekt geangelt. Da ich ja zwei andere beendet hatte, brauchte ich natürlich dringendst Nachschub, sonst könnten mir ja noch die Projekte ausgehen - SCHRECK! LOL

I got myself a new project. As I had finished two others a few days ago I desperately needed a new one, otherwise I'd run out of work - SHRIEK! LOL

Mit meiner Freundin Andrea habe ich mich für das Alla Turca von Pelin Tezer, das bei Marquoir gestickt wird, entschieden. Das Projekt wird in der Gruppe mit Erlaubnis des Designers gestickt.

With my friend Andrea I decided to work the Alla Turca from Pelin Tezer, which is being stitched at the group Marquoir. This project is being stitched with allowance from the designer.

Da ich noch nie mit Verlaufsgarn gestickt habe, musste ich natürlich gleich mal sehen, wie das so klappt. Und es ist mir recht gut von der Hand gegangen, obwohl ich sonst die Kreuzchen nicht direkt fertig sticke.

As I've never stitched with color variations before I definitely had to start immediately to see how good it would work. And I had no problems with it even though I usually never stitch cross by cross but in rows back and forth with half cross stitches and then - "on the way back" - finish the crosses.

So sieht mein erster Teil aus. - This ist what my first part looks like.
