Bowls with Borders

Heute am 10. Tag des Blog Hops "Bowls with Borders" bin ich an der Reihe, mein Schüsselchen zu zeigen. Leider habe ich es nicht geschafft, meinen Quilt fertig zu stellen. Da ich länger krank war, haben wir beschlossen spontan in Urlaub/Erholung zu fahren. Hierher konnte ich natürlich meine Nähmaschine nicht mitnehmen - das Auto war so schon proppevoll. Ich habe also die halbfertigen Teile mitgenommen und improvisiert. Die unteren Schüsseln habe ich auf dem schwarzen Hintergrundstoff appliziert, ebenfalls die Füße der Schüsseln. Die gestapelten Schüsseln hatte ich bereits fertig, so dass ich die 5 Teile pro Block dann mit Hand zusammennähen konnte. Naja, perfekt ist anders, aber ich habe mich durchgebissen sowas von Hand zu nähen. Beim Handnähen ist eigentlich Applikation eher meine Stärke. Teile zu piecen dagegen eher nicht.
Da ich keine Schneidematte usw. dabei habe, habe ich beschlossen, dass ich die Blöcke erst zu Hause begradige und dann zusammennähe - so ein ganz klein bisschen Perfektion braucht's dann doch. Ich werde wohl einen kleinen Tischläufer daraus machen und die Stapel so anordnen:

Today it's the 10th day of the "Bowls with Border"-BlogHop and it's my turn to show my bowls. Unfortunately I didn't manage to finish my quilt. As I was unwell for a long time we decided to go on vacation/rehab. So I took the half-sewn parts with me, leaving my sewing machine back at home as the car was already quite full. I improvised and appliqued the bottom bowls and their foots on background pieces and after that pieced all five parts for each block together. Well, it's far from perfect, but anyway, it's something to show you. And I'v struggeled threw handsewing as I don't do it usually if it's not applique.
As I have no cutting mat with me, I've decided to square up the blocks at home and then sew them together - I need a tiny littly bit of perfection.
I'm going to make a small runner out of it and this is how I'll arrange the blocks: 

Es tut mir leid, dass ich noch nicht mehr zeigen kann. Ich werde es aber so schnell wie möglich beenden und dann zeigen.
I'm sorry that I can't show more already. I'll finish as soon as possible and then show it.
